The Heart Behind MDC

Momentum Dance Company was built on a passion for teaching and a purpose I believe God placed in my life. Every experience — from dancing and performing to working in customer service and design — helped shape this journey, leading me to pour into the next generation through dance. I danced for 15 years at Julie’s School of Dance and have been teaching for 5 years at South Walton Dance Company. In high school, I was a member of the Blue Thunder Danceline Team at JR Arnold High School, earning superior ratings in both group and solo competitions and having the honor of performing at Walt Disney World in 2017. I’ve also assisted former NFL Bengals Cheerleader Ashley Brooks, the owner of South Walton Dance Company, where I currently teach Ballet, Jazz, and Hip Hop in Freeport, Florida. Through these experiences, I’ve continued to grow as both a dancer and a teacher, deepening my love for sharing dance with others. Teaching is where I’ve found my true purpose. It’s not just about steps or routines — it’s about helping students grow in confidence, creativity, and self-expression. At MDC, my mission is to create a space where every child feels seen, encouraged, and excited to move.
